Which is the best cordless mini chainsaw?

By 9th August 2024August 19th, 2024No Comments

Cordless mini chainsaws are having a moment! With a couple of new players on the UK market, Stihl’s GTA 26 and our Keeper KP6, there are plenty of options.

So, why get a cordless mini chainsaw? Well, they are great for a range of garden tasks from pruning jobs – where you might need more oomph than standard pruners can give you – to cutting small logs and for DIY projects too. And they are straightforward to use and have a host of safety features to keep you from harm (do read the instructions and safety manuals carefully first of course).

As with all tools and equipment, you get what you pay for. There are lots of cheap options on Amazon and possibly in your local DIY store but those listed below are professional quality. They will last and you will be able to get spares and replacement parts if necessary. Do check that the option you choose comes with a battery and charger as sometimes these need to be bought separately

As well as wanting to be sure you can get spare and replacement parts if necessary, also consider whether you might also prefer to buy from a physical dealer/seller so that you can go back with questions or problems if there are any. If buying online, you might want to make sure you can actually speak to anyone if you have any issues with your product.
