This unique accessory can be used with any of our backpack and compression sprayers.

N.B this version includes a discharge tube as shown in the image. If you do not require the discharge tube, a version is available without it here.

The dosimeter allows for highly accurate and consistent volumes of fluid to be delivered with each squeeze of the trigger. The pressure retaining system means that regardless of pressure variations in the backpack or compression sprayer it is used with. The amount of fluid delivered can be adjusted from 2ml – 25ml per stroke. Each pull of the trigger delivers the same amount of fluid each time.

Once calibrated correctly this allows for the rapid dosing of potted plants and seedlings. When potentially thousands of plants need treating every day the Dosimeter Valve not only saves time and effort but also reduces chemical waste considerably.

NOTE: If a lance extension is required then any of our lances compatible with the S5 valve can be fitted to the dosimeter. The lance extension is commonly used with The Dosimeter for spraying at the base of saplings to combat wood weevil.
