Product description

The portable MANKAR® models are ideal for use in areas of dense cultivation, irregular row cultivations or anywhere where a high degree of flexibility is needed. Metering is carried out via manual adjustment of the metering valve, depending on the herbicide used. The product travels by gravitational force from the tank to the atomiser via the valve. The atomiser is activated by the push of a button, meaning that spraying is only carried out where and when needed. In order to achieve uniform metering per unit of surface area (e.g. l/ha), the anticipated walking speed must be considered when adjusting the valve and must be held as constant as possible.

The HQ 30 has a square spray hood and can be adjusted to deliver a spray width of between 12-30 cm.
The HQ 45 has an oval hood and can be adjusted to deliver a spray width of between 15-45 cm.

Controlled droplet spraying & ultra low volume spraying

ULV spraying is an advanced form of controlled droplet application (CDA) spraying.

CDA is a method of producing sprays that have a very tight droplet size range i.e. almost all the droplets within the spray fall within a defined range. With CDA spraying, much less chemical product needs to be used which reduces costs and potential effects on the surrounding environment. With most CDA sprayers, however, the chemicals still need to be diluted. Some CDA sprayer systems will even lock you into buying specially packaged premixed chemicals that are specific to that particular CDA sprayer.

Mankar sprayers are unique in that they are both CDA and ULV sprayers at the same time. This means that you can spray neat chemicals like Glyphosate 480 without diluting it at all. The ULV nature of the Mankar will allow this to be sprayed in the very low volumes required and the CDA features will improve absorption rates so that less chemical needs to be applied.

With the Mankar ULV/CDA sprayers you continue to spray the same chemicals, but you will use less, and you don’t need to dilute them with and lug around 20kg of extra weight in the form of the water you dilute them with.
