Dosing accessories for backpack & handheld sprayers
The accurate dosing of herbicides, pesticides and liquid fertilisers is extremely important. Over dosing is not only a waste of money but can also damage crops and the environment.
To help achieve accurate dosing we offer several accessories to our standard backpack and handheld compression sprayers.
Dosing valves – the patented Dosimeter Valve from Guarany can be attached to any of our backpack or handheld compression sprayers. It has a calibratable dosing chamber which can be set between 2 and 25ml. With each press of the trigger the liquid in the dosing chamber will be released through the spray lance. The sprayer then stops and will only refill the chamber when the trigger is released. This means that a precise does of liquid is delivered with each trigger press.
Pressure regulators – backpack and handheld compression sprayers will slowly lose pressure as they are used. Pressure can be “topped up” by giving the pump a few extra strokes but even a careful operator will experience some variation in pressure which will result in a variable flow rate. To combat this, we offer a series of pressure regulator valves which will limit the pressure to 1 bar, 1.5 bar or 2 bar. If the available pressure drops below the regulated pressure the sprayer will stop spraying, indicating that the operator needs to add more pressure.
