Today, we are heading to Gower Fresh Christmas Trees in Swansea (www.gowerfreshchristmastrees.co.uk) for the British Christmas Tree Growers Association (BCTGA) Annual Competition Day where TV presenter Jules Hudson has been announced as the celebrity judge to find the best Christmas tree in Britain.
The winner of this prestigious annual competition traditionally provides the Christmas tree for Downing Street and there a winner winner also be selected to provide the Christmas wreath for No 10!!
New for this year is the BCTGA Innovation Award which is open to all BCTGA Growers and Associate Members and is set to celebrate anything from improved processes, adapted applicators or machinery, production methods or efficient office systems. The BCTGA is dedicated to represent and actively support growers of Christmas trees whilst championing naturally, beautiful British trees.
